It is currently not possible for humans to live permanently on Mars. The planet has a very thin atmosphere and no protective magnetic field, which makes it hostile to life as we know it. The average temperature on the surface of Mars is also much colder than on Earth, and there is no liquid water on the surface.
However, scientists and engineers are working on ways to make it possible for humans to live and work on Mars in the future. This includes developing technologies for producing food, water, and oxygen on the planet, as well as finding ways to protect humans from the harsh environmental conditions on Mars.
NASA and other space agencies around the world have sent several robotic missions to Mars to study the planet and prepare for human exploration. In recent years, there have also been private companies such as SpaceX that have expressed an interest in sending humans to Mars. While it will likely be several decades before humans are able to live on Mars, it is not out of the realm of possibility.
