On shores - poem by mani

Remember, in verbal confabulations, we got engaged.

You now seem to be so strange,

Dawns with you and the moon,

All I remember are those noons.

When I saw you walking down the shores,

Moonlight on your face, I felt yours.

Your thin red lips were a maze,

Thick crystal eyes had a stunning gaze.

All I remember are those days.

When you held my arm,

I got the deep charm.

My love, you are an addiction,

And I am your finest addict.

When on mountains we were,

Far from the delusion,

With my world,

With your illusion,

That is what I remember.

When we met,

You gave me dart

From your heart,

And you got depart,

But never from my heart.

I can't forget it all,

Every single moment we spent together,

Was my whole life altogether.

With you, I was wired,

Now all I am is tired.

I want my life back.

The life you gave is due.

Oh, my love, where are you?
